Limestone Community High School Bands

The LCHS Band Programs includes a variety of ensembles that practice and perform at certain times throughout the year. Summer means rehearsals to prepare for the fall Marching Rockets field show. The Marching Rockets perform during the LCHS home football games and at various competitions. When the marching season winds down, it is time for some serious fun with Pep Band at the home basketball games. The full band also plays in concert style at the Holiday Concert to wrap up the fall semester. During the spring semester, the Band Program focuses on smaller ensembles. This is the opportunity for individual players to hone their skills in either the Wind Ensemble or the Symphonic Band, based on an audition. Certain sections can also participage in the Jazz Band and the Percussion Ensemble. See each ensemble’s page for more information about the classes, requirements, schedules, et cetera.
